BCS XI showed up to the away team field with plenty of time to warm up and get ready for a game that was sure to be interesting. Marcou Marauders had conceded 36 goals in their first 2 matches. It came time for kick off and the XI checked in with the referees who after the 15 min grace period called the game a forfeit. One minute prior to said call, 3 MM players strolled over to the field and gave no explanation as to where their manager or team was, and just complained about the field being hard to find. Their home field was, apparently hard for their team to find, despite this BCS arrived an hour ahead of kick off.
On another field at the Veterans Field Complex The Druids were stood up by FC Marlborough who forfeit for a 2nd time this season and are looking like dropping out of the league much like the year before when they were known as MetroWest FC. BCS XI and Druids took advantage of the beautiful day and played an hour long scrimmage. It was good to still play, though the XI left unsatisfied after missing out on a certain goalfest to pad the already impressive goal difference.
Next week it's on to the league cup as underdogs against Division 2 team Analog. A win would see the XI on to the quarterfinals. COYE!
